License

MakeSBS3D is free to try and a one-time purchase to own. The trial converts the first 5 minutes of each movie, the full version the whole of it.

The trial

Without a license, every conversion stops after 5 minutes and the file name ends in _TRIAL. Everything else works as in the full version, so a trial conversion shows whether a disc comes out right before you buy. The toolbar shows a Full Unlock button while the trial lasts.

Buying a license

Choose License… in the MakeSBS3D menu, or click Full Unlock. The sheet has a Buy Full Version… button that opens the checkout on Gumroad, where the license costs US$29. The key arrives by email with the receipt.

Entering the key

Paste the key into the License key field of the same sheet and click Activate. MakeSBS3D checks it with Gumroad, and from then on converts at full length. The key is kept on this Mac, and the app checks it with Gumroad at most once a day.

A key is good for five Macs. When a sixth activation is refused with "This license key has been activated too many times", write to support and the count is reset.

Managing the license

Settings → General → License shows the status, and Manage… opens the sheet with the active key. Remove License returns the Mac to the trial and frees one of the five activations for another Mac.

Refunds

Write to support within 14 days of buying and the purchase is refunded, no questions asked. The key stops working once it is refunded. Support is support@makesbs3d.com.
