MakeSBS3D is the Mac’s answer to BD3D2MK3D: it reads the 3D video, audio, and subtitle tracks of a Blu-ray or MKV and writes a file a headset plays: full Side-by-Side MP4 for SKYBOX, Bigscreen, and other VR video players, or MV-HEVC spatial video for Apple Vision Pro. It is the work of one indie developer in Seattle.

A paragraph to quote
MakeSBS3D is a native macOS app that converts 3D Blu-rays into Side-by-Side and Top-and-Bottom video for VR headsets and 3D TVs, and into spatial video for Apple Vision Pro. It reads the disc through MakeMKV, or takes the MKV MakeMKV wrote, keeps the audio and subtitle tracks you choose, and writes a file the headset or the TV plays. It runs on Apple Silicon Macs, speaks six languages, costs US$29 once and converts the first five minutes of each movie for free. It is the work of one indie developer in Seattle.
